Ithaca’s roller derby team, the Sufferjets, are hosting a juried art exhibition titled “Women in Movement,” in the gallery upstairs at Petrune. Â The show opens Friday, Â Sept. 4, and will run until Oct. 15, 2009. Â Come check out this terrific exhibition. Â Visit on Gallery Night, Â 6:00-8:00, October 10, to meet artists and skaters.

Comet skateboard show
Tuesday, December 9th, 2008Local skateboard company Comet Skateboards has commissioned two dozen artists to use the board as a canvas for self-expression. Come check out the opening party and a their new video “Let’s Come Back” this Thursday, Dec. 11, at Petrune, from 5:00-8:00. Live music by “Sophistafunk,” and waffles from “Funk and Waffles.” After-party TBA!

“Space for Rent,” an exhibition of photography by Ithaca College photography students will be showing in our upstairs gallery.
