For our most recent window, we’re displaying some dreamy vintage boudoir looks, as well as saucy vintage-inspired lingerie. Take a gander. Some detail shots (worth seeing, trust me) after the jump!

Starting with an (I think) essential element to any woman’s wardrobe, the gigantic cozy sweater. It doubles as a blanket for lazy evenings on the couch, but you can also dress it up with a belt and boots for a night out! This one is a wool blend, for added comfort.

Halfway between your favorite blazer and your favorite flannel button-up, this brightly-colored wool jacket is an easy (and warm!) way to spice up jeans and a t-shirt.

This shirt is a great transitional piece, ideal both for winter nights under a coat, and summer nights in front of a campfire. The way it drapes is super-flattering on everyone I’ve seen try it on, as are the colors.

There is, of course, a more luxurious side to wool. Get your Gatsby on in this wool/angora blend double breasted coat… and maybe a brightly colored beret to modernize the look?

A shirt for a mountain man. Though it was a balmy 31 degrees when we were out taking photos, Alex professed that he was getting a little warm in this thick-knit fawn colored shirt. Truly a companion for the most bitter colds.

A brightly colored sweater that hits near your natural waist is a valuable part of any wardrobe. This red one with a detailed neckline is great because works when worn with either a skirt or pants!

Lastly, this (heavy as all get-out) olive wool military coat. It’s already charmed a few folks when we posted it on our Facebook recently, and I can’t blame them!

I was especially excited when I saw her pulling a couple pairs of leather 80′s pants off the racks at the store. We’ve been waiting for someone to come along with the cojones to rock those for ages! Jenna and a friend modeled a number of super sassy red/black/white themed looks, calling to mind our beloved White Stripes. And really, when the White Stripes are even tangentially involved, there’s no way to deny the awesome.

We’ve had a Forgotten Sage scented Votivo candle lit on our desk at Petrune for the past month or so, and the reactions from people who come in and have a sniff are the greatest.

“It smells like my grandma’s house!”

I’m honestly having a hard time not snapping up every one of these necklaces myself and running away to Siberia so we can be together forever in colorful euphoria. But… that wouldn’t do them justice.

Brand new in the store from White Owl Jewelry, these lace statement necklaces are as beautiful and intricate as they are blissfully simple. Made by two sisters in Michigan who give new life to vintage pieces, each one has a unique handmade charm while still being as classy as Michelle Obama. We have a number of colors and styles in the store right now, and they’re going rather quickly if the first few days are any indication!
